MODEL NW-100 DRUM FILLING MACHINES | NET WEIGHER FOR REFRACTORY MIX SYSTEM

The unit shown to the right is a High Speed Precision Drum Filling Machine designed to feed from 30 to 100 lb. weighments of a moist refractory mix as it is received from the mixer. Entire drum filling system is automatic, complete with alarms for the operator when the system requires more drums or more product loading into storage hopper.

Typical rates are 12-15 seconds to fill a 30-50 lb. net weight with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 pounds. Three units were put in service at one time eliminating product giveaway of up to one half pound per container. One system does 4 to 5 times the rate an individual operator can fill manually.

MODEL NW-50 NET CARTON FILLING MACHINES | NET WEIGHER FOR SNACK FOOD CHIPS

The unit shown above is an FDA Food Grade Design with all 304 stainless construction. Designed to feed snack food chips to 16" x 20" cartons. Net weighment of batch was 20-30 lbs. Design rate is 4 per minute with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 pounds. Cartons are indexed into position, filled, vibrated and moved out all on a powered roller conveyor.

MULTIPLE INGREDIENT BATCHING SYSTEM

B.E.S.T. Inc. offers multiple feeder packages, with Net Weigh Hopper, for recipe making, often required for mixing operations. The hopper feeders illustrated were provided in food grade, all 304 stainless construction designed for washdown. The system was furnished to a gourmet cookie mix producer for weighing out flour, sugar, and oatmeal with weighment accuracies of ±0.1 lbs. Control panel enables manual or auto operation of each feeder and associated equipment. Individual final weight and function is displayed in the batch controller display, upon request.
