DRUM FILLING STATION WITH VIBRATORY FEEDER - by B.E.S.T. Inc.

A leading chemical manufacturer required a Drum Filling Station with scale and retractable dust hood. The feeding device designed to deliver 2,500 lbs./hr., needed to be provided with a 20 mesh scalping screen deck to remove foreign products and oversize agglomerates.

B.E.S.T., Inc. provided a 12" x 36" Twin Motor Vibratory Screener Feeder with a permanent plate magnet in the good product outlet chute to prevent any ferrous product from entering the final drummed good product.

The drum is placed on the platform scale. Once the final fill weight is obtained, the screener automatically stops. Accuracy is +/- 0.2 lbs. based on a 250 lb. net fill weight.
